Materials

· 3 Size 10 US needles

· Lion brand Homespun, Hepplewhite, 2 ½ skeins, 425 grams / 462.5 yards

· Lion brand Fun Fur, White, 9 skeins, 450 grams / 576 yards

· A tapestry needle

· Two hook and latch style buttons

· 8 snaps .5 inches across

Gauge

6 stitches, 8 rows for 2inches

For Body:

Cast On 70

Work St st till piece measures 15 ½ inches long then on next knit row

Work St st till piece measures 38 inches long

Bind off by K2 tog through the back loops slipping stitch back to left needle

For Hood:

Cass on 50 stitches

Work St st till piece measure 16 ½ inches long

Three needle bind off

Pick up 138 st along edge of hood leaving one inch on either side

and work K3 P3 rib for five rows

Bind off by K2 tog through the back loops slipping stitch back to left needle

Finishing:

Sew snaps to hood about a half inch from edge and about 1 ¾ inches apart on RS of hood and sewing to match on WS of body

Sew first latch about an inch down from neck and the other an inch below that

Weave in ends.
