Cast On 4

R1: Knit

R2: Purl

Repeat till it measures however long your neck measures.

Bind off Cut Yarn Leaving a tail

The Beads: Add Beads in whatever pattern you like by stringing them on a big long piece of yarn. Attach them using the yarn needle, pull the yarn up to the wrong side knot them around a loop on the wrong side.

The Clasp: For the clasp I took an extra bead and attached it to one end of my chocker then with the tail of the other side from the cord made a loop and tied it so the bead would fit through. But you could also buy a clasp and sew it on the ends of the cord.

Pattern

You know have four sections you will need to maintain these sections till you start the lace part of the pattern.
Round 1: Knit all four sections
Round 2: Purl to last 5 stitches in the first section then P1 *YO, P1, YO, P1, YO, P1, YO, P1, YO, P1,SM, YO, P1, YO, P1, YO, P1, YO, P1, YO, P1* Purl to last 5 sts of section 3 . Repeat from * to * once. Purl rest of round
Round 3: Knit all four sections

Bind off by K2 tog through the back loops slipping stitch back to left needle

For Hood:

Cass on 50 stitches

Work St st till piece measure 16 ½ inches long

Three needle bind off

Pick up 138 st along edge of hood leaving one inch on either side

and work K3 P3 rib for five rows

Bind off by K2 tog through the back loops slipping stitch back to left needle

Finishing:

Sew snaps to hood about a half inch from edge and about 1 ¾ inches apart on RS of hood and sewing to match on WS of body

Sew first latch about an inch down from neck and the other an inch below that

Weave in ends.
